A winter sports town: It is an ideal site for winter sports being 36 km away from the winter resort of Sierra Nevada, whose sports facilities are easily accessible from the town. Here several international championships take place, among them the World Ski Championships in 1995.

Our Spanish course tutors are hand-picked. All Spanish language teachers have superior degrees in Philology in addition to their teaching training certificate (CAP). Special subject teachers have degrees in their respective specialties (Business Spanish, Literature, etc.). Each student will have at least two teachers during the course. The teaching staff is coordinated by the Head of the Institute. In addition to their teaching duties, all our staff are available to help you in any way or to provide you with any information you may require.

Spanish Courses Granada - Methodology

The teaching will be carried out entirely in Spanish using direct methods and looking for mental association between the concept and the corresponding words in Spanish. Vocabulary and grammar are learnt using situations which will help to be understood.

We emphasize the continual practice in written and spoken language. There will be various exercises to practise different grammar structures, dictations, essays, reading with special attention to phonetics, and free or controlled conversation in Spanish. All these exercises will be checked by the teachers.

Home-Stay: This type of accommodation means a private household with meal (half board - breakfast and lunch or dinner - and full board - breakfast, lunch and dinner). In single, double (2 individual beds) or triple (3 individual beds). These last two options for people who come together.

Shared apartment: in single or double room (if people come together)

Shared apartment with Spanish people: in single or double room (if people come together). Places are limited, therefore it is important ask for availability before booking. In this option, the participant may live with Spanish families or Spanish people, sharing the common areas with them.

"Individual" apartments: the price depends on:

Hotel / Hostel / Inn: The reservation is made according to the requests of the participants and at least one months advance notice is required. The school is only able to make the reservation on your behalf - the participant should pay directly to the hotel.

Accommodation General Information:

The week of lodging starts the previous Sunday of the course to Saturday after the course.

Check-in is from a pproximately f14.00 (2 pm) onwards, and c heck-out is at 10.00 am. Every participant will receive all the necessary for the bed (pillow, sheets, blankets, etc), but towels and products for personal hygiene aren't supplied.

Supplements:

Extra Nights: every previous or after extra night to the day of arrival or departure has a price that will depend on the type of lodging chosen by the student.

Accompanying Person: For each person who wishes to accompany a student during his/her staying without participating in the courses, the price is of 45 €.
