• Functional Spanish (or cultural): 1 hour (Situations at the bank, restaurant, hotel, post office; Idiomatic expressions, dictation)
• Conversation Spanish: 2 hours

Combined Schedule (Monday through Friday)

I. 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Spanish language class (individual, one on one): 3 Hrs. (Grammar, drills and conversation)
• Functional Spanish (or cultural): 1 Hr. (Situations at the bank, restaurant, hotel, post office; Idiomatic expressions, dictation)
• Conversation: 2 Hrs.

Students in the Intensive Spanish Program can earn one credit for 15 contact hours.

Credits granted by our Spanish school in Cuernavaca, Mexico are transferable to institutions abroad. In the case of students whose home university has no agreement with us, they must make sure that credits are accepted by their school.

The number of credit hours for which you are eligible depends on the number of contact classroom hours. The basic formula is 3 semester credit hours for each 45 contact hours. Most universities and colleges will accept transfer credits based on these contact hours; your transcript will come directly from the sponsoring U.S. University. When you register for one of our programs and indicate you desire credit, all the necessary forms for registration will be sent to you.

Learn Spanish in Mexico - Accommodation

HOME STAY (Lodging):

At our Spanish school in Cuernavaca, Mexico an important part of your experience is living with a Mexican family. This provides real life situations, not only in the language, but in the culture as well. Our families are caring hosts, specially screened and chosen to provide excellent attention. Families are middle and upper middle class by Mexican standards.

Houses are smaller and less luxurious than students may be used to at home, but some have beautiful gardens and servants. The family provides two meals daily and transportation to and from school, if not within walking distance.

The two home-stay plans are:

Private room with semi-private bath (at most shared with one other student)

Budget shared room with shared bath. Students will share with another student and may share a bathroom with the family. Payments are made directly to the families, since we do not charge a commission from the families.

These prices are on a per-night basis and include 2 meals daily and transportation to and from the school. Prices do not include laundry service.
