Summer Group Course

This 15 hour per week summer program in Spain is available in both Alicante and Malaga and can be taken for 2 to 12 weeks. General Spanish language instruction is offered in groups of no more than 10 students. You can choose to take classes either in the mornings or afternoons.

You’ll have plenty of free time to explore all the interesting local attractions on your own or join in the many activities and excursions organized by the school. Every week there is a barbecue, where you have the opportunity to learn how to cook paella and other Spanish foods.

Join a guided city tour or a visit to various Tapas bars, attend one of the many festivals held throughout the year, visit the theatre, learn to salsa and flamenco dance or attend the school’s movie screenings.

On weekends, you can go on a half-day, full-day or weekend long excursion to one of the fascinating nearby attractions. Who hasn’t wanted to visit Morocco? Now’s your chance! These activities are available at reasonable prices.

During this summer program, these two locations have a particularly diverse group of international students. You’ll meet many fascinating people from all over the world.

Accommodation is not included in the course fee, but the school offers attractive home stay and apartment options.

Tailor Made Courses for Young Persons and Adults

This school is happy to create a Spanish language course to suit your group’s particular needs.

Whether you want a private group course in general Spanish or a course focused on a given topic or activity which includes language instruction, they will be happy to structure an interactive and fun program especially for your group that will enhance their current area of study or work. Courses can be designed for school groups, associations, organizations, families and groups of friends.

These courses can start on any Monday throughout the year. Young persons must be at least 16 years of age. Courses can be arranged anywhere from 1 to 12 weeks, and you can split your time between Alicante and Malaga, if desired. Class size is between 7 and 10 students in closed groups. A minimum of 3 hours of language lessons per day plus an activities program is required. Airport pickup and a group coordinator who will take care of all your needs, organize excursions, etc. can be arranged.

Students will learn in a multi-cultural environment, interacting with other students from all over the world at the school. Our schools’ social organizers strive to make the extra-curricular activities as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.

Sport activities like volleyball, swimming, treasure hunts, hikes, karaoke; guided tours and excursions to places like Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Marbella; social events like parties and barbeques - all these will expose your group to various aspects of Spanish culture and give them the opportunity to use their newly learned skills in real life.

Just one example of a course that can be arranged for you includes:

• 15 to 20 hours of Spanish language instruction during the week, 9:30 to 13:30 (including a break between 11:20 and 11:40).
• Afternoon activities from 16:00-19:00.
• Full day excursion on Saturday.
• Home stay accommodation with breakfast and lunch/or evening meal
• Transfer to and from airport.
• All materials and handouts.
• Certificate of Completion.
• Groups of at least 15 students entitles one leader to free home stay accommodation.

Teen Summer Course

This course is for 2 to 4 weeks and ages 13 through 17.

The course includes:

• 4 morning classes per day in groups of no more than 10 students. Classes are held Monday through Friday.
• Once per week extra grammar tutorial to focus on particular needs.
• A full program of fun and educational cultural and entertainment activities and excursions in the afternoons and on weekends.
• Home stay double room accommodation with a Spanish family, with full board included in the course price. Accommodation is provided for the Sunday before and the Saturday after the course.
• A monitor assigned to the students, serving as support and contact for the student, available 24 hours a day, providing supervision on outings, overseeing class attendance and curfews, etc.
• Student card with discounts for local services and at merchants.
• Round trip airport pickup.
• Attendance certificate.

Students must have medical insurance, which the school can arrange for you. Students must abide by the school’s rules of behavior, which parents or tutors agree to prior to students’ arrival. All activities not organized by the school must be explicitly authorized in advance by parents or guardians.

Summer Spanish Programs in BarcelonaTop

Summer Teen Course: ages 15-18

The summer school in Barcelona offers a 20 lesson per week course in groups of a maximum 12 students grouped according to language level. Classes take place in the mornings, Monday through Friday. This course is for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Weekday afternoons are full of fun and educational activities chosen specifically for this age group. Examples of activities are visits to museums, a castle and going dancing or to the beach for games and swimming.

On Saturdays students go on excursions to places like a theme park and to Figueres and the Salvador Dali Museum. Sundays are free for them to explore Barcelona with their new friends.

The course includes:

• 20 lessons per week of Spanish language instruction.
• Activities and excursions.
• Accommodation is half-board in the home of a Spanish speaking family.
• Transfer to the school from Barcelona airport and back.

Summer Group Program

This school offers summer packages of Spanish language instruction with or without accommodation included. Courses can be taken from 1 to 12 weeks. There are options for 20, 25, 30 and 35 hours per week of class time.  Class size never exceeds 9 students.
The course fee includes personal assistance from school staff, a certificate upon course completion, a welcome pack and an entry level course book plus additional teaching materials.

Fun and educational activities and excursions are offered after class included in the course price. Enjoy the non-stop nightlife Madrid is so famous for, attend concerts and street festivals, movie screenings at the school, take dance classes, wine and tapas tastings.

On weekends the school organizes trips to the nearby mountains and towns as well as cities such as Cuenca, Toledo and Segovia. The student will have to pay for entry fees and transportation costs if applicable.

This school is happy to provide a course for your group alone. The course includes:

• 20 lessons per week.
• Welcome party at the school.

These summer Spanish programs in Spain are happy to create a language course to suit your group’s particular needs. Whether you want a private group course in general Spanish language instruction or a course focused on a given topic or activity which includes language instruction (history, art, literature, DELE exam prep, business Spanish, etc.), they will be happy to structure a program especially for you.

The most common class format is 20 hours per week of instruction during weekday mornings, but this can be altered one way or the other to fit your requirements. Many people prefer their students to join the other students at the school in their classes. This way your group will have more of an opportunity to have the rich multi-cultural experience of contact with people from around the globe.

If you prefer to have a closed group, that is fine as well. Your group can also split its time between Seville and Salamanca, as long as the stay in each city is for one week. Group leaders have the option of taking a Spanish class for teachers, while their group members are in their classes.

Both schools offer a rich and enjoyable program of activities that your group can follow. As with the classes, they will benefit from and enjoy the contact with all the interesting international students.

The schools are, however, very happy to design a program particularly for you and your group. Your group will experience the culture of Spain and practice their new language skills through experiences such as a guided tour of the city with its historic buildings and monuments, attending one of the many colorful festivals throughout the year, a visit to a bull farm, dance lessons, tapas tasting tours, film screenings at the school, various sports activities, lectures on history and culture and excursions to interesting and beautiful towns and cities nearby.

The schools offer various accommodation options. Home stay is the most common choice and gives a deeper cultural experience and more opportunity to practice Spanish. Residences are available year round in Salamanca and during the summer in Seville. Group members of at least 18 years of age can stay in student flats with multiple bedrooms and studio apartments. 

A certificate of completion is awarded to all students who have a minimum attendance rate of 90%. You may also require that your group members pass an exam in order to receive their certificate.
