Our Russian Language Courses in Kalingrad

Standard Mini Group Russian Courses (20 hrs)

Mini-Group course of 2-6 students. Best choice to effectively practice both you speaking and writing abilities.

If you prefer to learn Russian in a group and to receive maximum personal attention from your teacher of Russian at the same time, you may choose to take a course in a mini-group of 2-6 students. Minimal length is two weeks, all levels, and minimal age - 16 years. The standard intensity of the course is 20 hours a week.

Classes in mini-groups can be supplemented by any number of individual hours. Besides, the School can organize mini-group courses of any desired intensity and length for organized groups.

Additional Individual hours

We aim at offering you the maximum number of choices for your Russian Language Course. You can combine any Mini-group or Group Course with any number of hours of individual lessons. It's up to you to decide how many additional hours you want to take.

Summer Schools 2007

Russian Summer Schools in Kaliningrad within four 3-weeks periods in June, July and August.

You have a choice of enrolling for only one or several schools together. Levels: beginner's and intermediate.

• Summer School I: June 3 - June 23
• Summer School II: June 24 - July 14
• Summer School III: July 15 - August 4
• Summer School IV: August 5 - August 25

Russian Language Course Price Includes:

• 20 hours of tuition per week (four academic hours every morning Monday to Friday);
• Accommodation with a host family in Kaliningrad or in the company owned apartment in the separate room, meals excluded;

Combined Summer Schools: learn Russian over six, nine, or twelve weeks in the summer of 2007

Stay in Kaliningrad for six, nine, or twelve weeks long Russian language course in the summer of 2007. You will improve your language enormously by taking part in more than one Summer school of Russian in 2007. Would you like to advance in your Russian and to have wonderful vacations at the same time? Then Summer School of the Russian Language is exactly what you need! You can combine your tuition in the Summer Schools with any number of hours of individual lessons. It's up to you to decide how many additional hours you want to take.

The following services are included in the fee:

• Official letter of invitation to apply for your Russian visa;
• Information material on all transportation options;
• Cultural program: A standard 2-weeks' course includes two excursions - a 3-4 hours tour of the city and a day's trip to either the National Park "Curonian Spit" or the Baltic resorts in Svetlogorsk and Zelenogradsk. For long-term students we arrange additional tours of the Baltic Spit, amber mining, and the marine base in Baltyisk, as well as an overview tour of the Kaliningrad region and visits to museums and theaters. Tour schedule: one tour per week for the first four weeks; you will have to pay for some of our further excursions;

Russian Courses in Kalingrad - Accommodation

School's Apartment

Comfort, independence, and low prices. The apartment is located right in front of the school.

Since the end of August, 2004, we can offer a new type of accommodation. We have opened a brand new apartment for our students. It has two smaller rooms and one larger room. It also has two bathrooms and a common living area. The apartment is situated in Dobrolubov str. (ulitsa Dobrolubova) in the green district not far from the centre of the city. This flat has all modern conveniences, washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. Once a week bed linen will be changed, the cleaning is also provided.

Host Family

If you want to totally plunge into the Russian language, life and culture, then accommodation in a Russian host family is an ideal option. All host families are carefully selected by the School. We take care of your comfort and security.

Living in the apartment of your host family you will be part of their everyday life and activities. This arrangement offers the opportunity to use your linguistic knowledge in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

You will have a separate room with everything necessary for life. However, you must bear in mind that Russian apartments are usually small and have only one bathroom. You should be aware that there would be other people sharing the same facility. You will be entitled to use kitchen appliances for your own cooking.

Telephones are available in all apartments. Local calls are free of charge. For international calls, we recommend that you should purchase special phone cards. Internet access is not always available in Russian apartments.

All apartments we offer are located within maximum 20 minutes walking from the School. It will take you only 10 minutes by bus to get to the city center. Your room will be cleaned once a week; bed linen will be changed once a week as well. You will have access to the hosts' laundry.

Room sharing is also possible for two persons arriving together or for members of organized groups.

Single room accommodation fee: meals excluded - €70 a week, one meal (breakfast) - €85 a week, half-boarding (breakfast and dinner) - €105 a week. Shared room accommodation fee for two persons: meals excluded - €110 a week, one meal (breakfast or dinner) - €140 a week, half-boarding - €180 a week.
