There is a bustling fishing village, Santa Fee, 7 kilometers away, and a 30 minute bus ride will bring you to Puerto La Cruz. Location: The Spanish school and lodge are right in front of the beach in Playa Colorada. The scenery is amazing, with lush tropical vegetation ending where the palm-lined beach begins. Very reasonably priced options for meals are available at cafes and restaurants on the beach. While quiet during the week, the weekends bring a lot of locals who come to listen and dance to the live music at the bars.

Facilities: The beautiful lodge is modelled after a “Chawata”, used by the indigenous Warao Indians as a communal space. It has large common areas, classrooms open to the fresh sea breeze and a 12 meter climbing wall all set amidst tropical garden. The school has a bar on premises - the venue for many an impromptu student party. Use the new sea kayaks to explore the adjoining oceanfront.
