Facilities: Set in a large mansion. More than 20 classrooms, a spacious garden with trees and flowering shrubs, and 4 shaded patios with comfortable chairs for students to relax and study. Teachers: All our teachers have university degrees, are native speakers and have years of experience teaching Spanish Materials: Included in the 35 hour program. $15 US per level for other programs. Classes per week: 15, 20, 35. Course Duration: one week minimum. Lessons: 55 Minutes. Class size: Maximum of 10 (but classes tend to range in size from 4 to 6 students). Levels: Levels of Grammar from beginning to advanced plus 2 options for advanced speakers: Advanced Language Practice and Literature. Start Dates: Spanish courses in Oaxaca begin every Monday. Students are encouraged to start on the first Monday of each session. Placement exams and orientation are given every Monday and Saturday morning. Includes: Cultural workshops 2 hours per day Monday through Thursday and a daily one-hour conversational exchange with local students and professionals. Location: The Spanish language school in Oaxaca islocated in a welcoming 19th century estate surrounded by gardens, in the historic center of the colonial city of Oaxaca, where daily life proceeds among the colonial churches and buildings. The Main Square, or Zócalo, is a short walk from the school and is the heart of the city. The sidewalk cafes provide a magnificent setting for partaking of the gorgeous weather, parades, and concerts. Between the Zócalo and the school, you will find several museums, churches, art galleries, and cultural centers which enthrall people of all ages.
