“Vina”, as the locals call it, was founded in 1874 as a weekend retreat for the wealthy from Santiago and Valparaiso, and remains a popular beach destination.  Nearby Valparaiso offers windy cobblestone streets and suburbs perched on hilltops and cliffs reached by cable railcars and sinuous stairways.  It features museums, interesting architecture and Pablo Neruda’s residence.  We organize a lot of different activities for you, such as international dinners, nights out on the town, dance lessons, wine tasting, handicrafts, and trips to places like museums and other sights.  There are many other diversions for you to sample in the area as well; rafting, skiing, sailing, horseback riding, hang-gliding, paintball, and much more.  Living with a Chilean family provides many opportunities to experience the local culture and is an important part of your experience at the school, should you choose this option.

Options: Home stay.

Type: Single.

Description: Located in the best neighborhoods, private room with TV, desk, closet and radio, in some cases a private bath.

Meals: Half board, No meals.
 
Travel time to school: Less than 25 minutes.
