Location: The Spanish school in Sucre is located on Kilómetro 7 Street No. 250, in front of the Bolivar Park, Sucre’s historical and main park. Four blocks away from the main “Plaza” and three blocks away from the Central Market, places that are vital in commercial and tourist movements in the city of Sucre.

Facilities: The school has a number of large classrooms with natural lighting, a large open patio and an attractive sunlit terrace, a cafeteria where we provide free snacks during class breaks, free internet, library, and inexpensive bicycle rental. The school also has a video classroom/ language learning lab, free internet and a library.

Teachers: All our teachers are young, qualified professionals, who have plenty of experience teaching Spanish as a second language. Teachers share with students in additional activities at the school and on short trips around Sucre, allowing the students to experience the daily life, natural beauty and reality of our country.

Materials: Classroom material for each level of study includes Copies from our textbook, audio-visual material, written exercises, activities and Latin American films and music. Everything the student needs to develop all the skills: conversation, reading, understanding, writing, etc. Also under request, it is possible to have some special vocabulary for professionals or History, Literature and any specific topic during the lessons. There are also activities outside the school, to practice conversation and vocabulary. Students can have different activities having a closer approach to the people, the city and the culture.

The school has a large open patio where we offer activities such as: dancing classes (salsa and other typical dances from Bolivia) and meetings. Usually on Friday nights we have a barbecue (BBQ) or cooking classes of traditional dishes from Bolivia and share “chuflays” (a spiritual Bolivian drink) “sangria” or “pisco sours” and non alcohol traditional drinks also. We also offer volunteer opportunities in places like the Sucre psychiatric hospital, the psycho-pedagogical institute, local orphanages, daycare centers, women's aid groups and child laborer educations centers. The city also has other attractions, such as restaurants, museums, shops and the surroundings. The city is home of a large indigenous population who continues their time-honored clothing and customs and they sell their crafts and wares in the city markets. During the class time it is possible to visit some museums and cultural places as part of the activities.
