Location: The Bariloche Spanish School is situated in the city center, two blocks away from the main street and 10 minutes by bus from the bus terminal. Many restaurants and bars are within 5 minutes walking distance.
Every week we provide three to five afternoon activities such as salsa and tango dance lessons and performances, trips to the museum, local schools and an orphanage, trekking in the local mountains, photo tours, various games and sports, and cooking classes. Many sports are available in the area, including skiing in the winter at Cathedral Mountain, the most popular resort in Argentina and the biggest in South America. Rafting, kayaking, paragliding and horseback riding are also available. Living with an Argentine family provides many opportunities to experience the local culture and is an important part of your experience at the school, should you choose this option. There is also ample nightlife to sample in Bariloche.
