Location: The Italian language school is located in historic downtown Lucca between the Piazza dell' Anfiteatro and the Torre Guinigi.

Facilities: A free internet point is available in the school.A collection of Italian films is available to students to watch in the afternoons. DVD, televisions, kitchen.

Teachers: Teachers our have many years of experience teaching Italian as a second language.

Italian Language Courses in Tuscany - Lucca

Type: Individual, Group, Combined (group/individual).

Classes per week: Individual – 10, 15, 20; Group – 20; Combined – 20 + 10.

Course Duration: One week minimum.

Lessons: 55 minutes.

Start Dates: Italian courses in Lucca can be started any Monday if you are a non beginner. Courses for beginners start on Feb 7 & 21, Mar 7 & 21, Apr 4 & 18, May 2, 16 & 30, Jun 1, 13 & 27, Jul 11 & 25, Aug 8 & 22, Sep 5 & 19, Oct 17 & 31, Nov 14 & 28, Dec 12. Private lessons can be started any day.

Italian Learning + Cultural Activities

We organize afternoon art and cultural activities and food and wine courses, which are included in the course fee. For the food and wine courses, a small extra participation fee will be charged. Lucca is one of the rare Tuscan towns that has kept its original urban structure, with the Roman walls defining and protecting the center of the city from vehicular traffic. There is a fascinating mix of architectural styles co-mingling here that spans from the Roman era through the late 19th century. We are 30 minutes from Pisa and one hour from Florence. Living with an Italian family provides many opportunities to experience the local culture and is an important part of your experience at the school, should you choose this option.

Description: Home stays and student apartments - Shower or bath and linen service available; Albergo Piccolo Puccini- little 3 star hotel near the main square Piazza S. Michele, completely rebuilt. D. Albergo Ilaria - 4 star hotel in the centre of the town near the school, breakfast buffet, parking garage, internet access and bicycles available in the hotel.

Meals: Half board, Breakfast only, No meals.

Travel time to school: No more than 10 minutes walk.

Airport pickup: €85 from Pisa airport.
