Italian Language School in Tuscany - Elba
Location: The language school in Tuscany (Elba) is housed in an historic low building typical of the town’s architecture and in the center of town overlooking the sea and the narrow port streets.
Facilities: The school has 3 classrooms and TV/DVD. There is an internet point in town.
Teachers: Our language teachers have many years of experience teaching Italian as a second language and have completed specialized training courses.
Materials: Included with tuition.
Italian Language Courses in Tuscany - Elba
Type: Individual, Tutor (live with teacher), Group, Combined (group/individual).
Classes per week: Individual – 10, 15, 20; Tutor – 35; Group – 20; Combined – 20 + 10.
Course Duration: One week minimum.
Lessons: 55 minutes.
Class size: Maximum of eight.
Levels: All.
Start Dates: Individual and Tutor - up to you; Group and Combined - All absolute beginners and all levels starting November through May must start on the following dates: Apr 6 & 20, May 4 & 18, Jun 1, 15 & 29, Jul 13 & 27, Aug 10 & 24, Sep 7 & 21, Oct 5 & 19. Non-beginners April through October can start any Monday.
Includes: A folder with schedule of excursions and cultural activities organized in the afternoons, a guide with useful information about town such as directions to beaches, recommended bars and restaurants, hours of business of local shops, etc; certificate of attendance and ability; afternoon art, cultural, and wine and food activities 2-3 times each week; assistance with applying for temporary residence permits.

Italian Learning + Cultural Activities
The town features a piazza, which opens onto the sea and the harbor. The village has something further to offer: the town has an interesting and ancient history of iron quarrying which has influenced the region from the Etruscans to recent times. The school organizes interesting activities and excursions to help you explore the local culture.
Elba Accommodation
Options: Shared apartments, Hotel, Casa Valdese Guesthouse.
Type: Single, Double.
Description: Home stay - in apartment (studio, 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms) with kitchen and bathroom; Hotel - 3 star, private bathroom and breakfast; Guesthouse Casa Valdese - private room and bathroom, breakfast or half board (depending on season), beautiful garden; Guesthouse Agritourism Le Sughere - on a working oil and wine farm, private bedroom and bathroom, satellite TV, swimming pool.
Meals: Half board, Breakfast only, No meals.
Travel time to school: Within 20 minute walking time.
