Location: The German language school in Freiburg is located in the very center, in an area with restaurants, cafes and lots of chestnut trees for shade. All the main tourist attractions are within walking distance and we are very close to the main train station.

Facilities: The school has eight classrooms equipped with overhead projectors. We also have TV, DVD, CD players, a student lounge and café, a roomy terrace and computers with free internet access.

Teachers: All German language teachers have university degrees and experience teaching German as a second language.

Materials: €33.

German Courses in Freiburg

Type: Individual, Group, Combined (group/individual).

Classes per week: Individual - 10; Group - 20; Combined - 20 + 5, 20 + 10.

Course Duration: One week minimum.

Lessons: 45 minutes.

Class size: Maximum of 12.

Start Dates: German courses in Freiburg start every Monday, except for absolute beginners, who start on the following dates – Jan 4, Feb 15, Mar 29, May 17, July 5, Aug 2, Sept 13, Nov 2.

German Learning + Cultural Activities

Freiburg is a very picturesque city with its medieval old town and surrounding hills. You can take a cable car to the top of one of them. The surrounding area is extremely beautiful as well. There are vineyards to the south, the Rhine River nearby as well as the Black Forest, and a ruined castle to the north. Our city is famous for its efforts to protect the environment and was named “the German capital for environmental protection” in 1992. Our German school offers a rich extra-curricular cultural and entertainment program, with historical sightseeing tours, trips to the surrounding region and Alsace and Switzerland. We show a culturally relevant video regularly, and we have BBQ’s and a cooking club.

Freiburg Accommodation

Options: Home stay, Shared apartment, Student hostel, Private apartment.

Type: Single.

Description: All options feature comfortably furnished single rooms, clean bathrooms and toilets, access to a kitchen, bed linen, final room cleaning, and easy access to public transportation. Home stay - no meals, half board or full board available; Shared apartment - no meals; Student hostel - only available during semester breaks, private room.

Meals: No meals, breakfast only, half board, full board.

Travel time to school: Within 30 minutes.
