Location: The German language school in Berlin is in the center of Berlin’s most chic district, Prenzleuerburg, with over 40 cafes and bars, cinema, designer fashion boutiques, a theatre, and a yoga and dance studio.

Facilities: We have a 9000 square meter campus, with a large garden, an outdoor café, indoor cafeteria, bookstore, restaurant, lounge with movie screen, 40 classrooms, and free internet access and wi-fi.

Teachers: All have university degrees and experience teaching German as a second language.

Materials: Included with tuition.

German Courses in Berlin, Germany

Type: Individual, Group, Combined group/mini-group, Combined (group/individual).

Classes per week: Individual – 20, 30; Group - 20; Combined group/mini-group – 20 + 10; Combined group/individual – 20 + 10.

Course Duration: One-week minimum.

Lessons: 45 minutes.

Class size: Maximum of 12 (6 for Mini-group).

Levels: All.

Start Dates: German courses in Berlin start every Monday.

Includes: Free internet access and wi-fi; at least 3 half-day and 1 full day excursion per week, seminar or film once a week, drink and social gathering with staff once a week, certificate of achievement.

Specialized: ZD, ZMP, TestDaf, ZOP, KDS and GDS exam prep; Business, journalist’s, teacher’s or lawyer’s German.

German Learning + Cultural Activities

The language school organizes many cultural and entertainment activities, such as walking tours of various Berlin neighborhoods, nights out at restaurants or clubs, movie nights, day trips to surrounding areas, etc. Living with a German family provides the best cultural interaction and language practice available, should you choose this option.

Options: Standard and superior studio apartment, Home stay, Shared flat with local residents, Student shared apartments.

Type: Single, Double.

Description: Standard studio – next to school, single, or double, en suite bathroom with shower, kitchen, wi-fi, bed linen and towels, TV, phone, no meals: Superior studio – same as standard, bathroom also has tub, deluxe furnishings and larger rooms; Home stay – single room with table and closet, no meals or breakfast only with kitchen access, half board with no kitchen access, bed linens and towels provided; Shared flat – single room with table and closet, bed linens and towel supplied, washing machine, access to kitchen, no meals or breakfast only, within 15 minutes to school by metro; Student shared apartments – single or double rooms, shared bath and kitchen, living room, bed linen and towels, stereo, cable TV, washing machine or dishwasher, no meals.

Meals: No meals, Breakfast only, Half board.

Travel time to school: Between 5 and 50 minutes.

Airport pickup: Included with Home stay half board booking; Otherwise €40.
