Languages in Action delivers programs to learn German in Germany and Austria. Each school offers the opportunity to learn German at language schools in different settings, along with diverse cultural opportunities.
Our language courses are dynamic and fun, our language schools accredited and equipped to a high standard. Below is a general overview of the types of courses our language schools offer, along with accomodation and accreditation details.
German Course Options
Learn German in Groups
You can take group language courses at our schools from between 15 and 30 hours per week. You will learn German in an energetic and fun group environment and you may find these group courses to be very supportive of your language learning.
Learn German One-to-One
The benefit of individual German courses is that they are tailored to fit your particular language requirements. They are also suited to those who wish to study more intensely. You can arrange classes on a per hour basis or take 10, 20 or 30 hour a week packages.
Learn German in Combined Group and Individual Courses
These courses put together the focus of individual study with the cooperative energy of group lessons, providing you with the best of both worlds. You may learn German in classes of 20 group hours + 2 individual hours or 20+4, 20+5, 20+6, 20+8, and 20+10 hours per week.
Learn English with Activity Focused Courses
Learning German while engaging in one your favorite interests or hobbies or is a wonderful and fun way to learn the language. Our German schools provide classes that mix language lessons with skiing, snowboarding, music instruction and cultural seminars.
Focused German Courses
If you wish to learn German for explicit areas of study or commerce, we can certainly help. We offer courses in business German, German and work experience, along with German for teachers, lawyers, and journalists.
Examination German Courses
If you need to pass a German language competency test, we may have a course for you. Many of our language schools offer examination test and preparation courses such as the DSH, DaF, ZD, ZMP, ZOP, KDS, and GDS exams. These courses are examined by the Goethe Institut.

German Language Course Accommodation Options
We have several accomodation options to choose from, each offering a distinctive experience. Single, double, shared accomodation is available, along with full board, half board, breakfast only or no meals.
Home/family stay
Full language and cultural immersion while being economical. All families are carefully selected and provide up to three meals per day.
Shared Student Apartments
More independent accomodation living with fellow language learners. You may choose single or double / shared rooms if enrolling as a pair. All apartments are fully furnished with a communal living area.
Private Apartment
Full independence in fully furnished apartments.
Hotels
All the trappings and charm of German hotel accomodation.
Bed and Breakfast/Pension
More informal than hotels combined with a personal touch. Popular with couples or mature students
