French Language School Montreal

Location: The French language school in Montreal is centrally located, close to public transit and close to a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

Facilities: The Montreal school has classrooms that are bright with lots of space for every student. We have a multi-media student resource centre with reading materials, computers with CD-ROM, and audio equipment. We provide free internet access.

Teachers: All French language teachers have university degrees and many years of experience teaching French as a second language.

Materials: $30 CDN/month for group classes; Individual classes materials are included with tuition.

French Language Courses Montreal

Type: Individual, Group, Summer Courses, Teen Programs.

Classes per week: Individual 10; Group - 20, 25, 30.

Course Duration: Each French course is 4 weeks in duration but you can begin any Monday if you already know some French. To progress from one level to a higher level (e.g. beginner to elementary) it should take 1 or 2 courses (somewhere between 4 and 8 weeks). Minimum course duration is 2 weeks.

Lessons: 55 minutes.

Class size: Average of 8, maximum of 14.

Levels: All.

Start Dates: French courses in Montreal start every Monday if you are at least already at an elementary level. Courses for absolute beginners start on the following dates: Jan 11, Feb 8, Apr 8, May 5, May 31,  June 28, July 26, Aug 23, Sept 20, Oct 18, Nov 15, Dec 13.  The school will be closed on national holidays:  April 2, May 24, June 24, July 1, September 6, October 11, November 11, Holiday Week December 27 to 31.

Includes: Our school organizes a number of different events and activities designed to expose you to the language and culture. Also included is free internet and wi-fi, certificate.

Specialized: Teen language adventure in July and August.

French Learning + Cultural Activities

Description: Home stay;Single room accomodation, half-board (breakfast and evening meal), 1 student per linguistic background, clean sheets and towels provided each week. Hotels and YMCA; All normal facilities of a budget hotel/hostel.

Meals: Home stay - half board, residence - no meals.

Travel time to school: Maximum 60 minutes by public transport.

Airport pickup: $100 CDN.
