 Location: The English language school in Christchurch is situated at the seaside in the suburb of New Brighton. The beach, cafés, shops, restaurants, banks, bars, library, post office, public transportation and the Christchurch Pier are all just a short walk from us. There are also golf, tennis and other sport and recreation facilities very close by.
Facilities: The English school is new and has 16 classrooms, student common lounges with free refreshments, a library, quiet courtyards and gardens, a computer room, and free internet access.
Teachers: All teachers are university educated and hold English teaching certificates.
Materials: Included for a small fee, depending on the course you take.
English Courses Christchurch
 Type: Individual, Group.
Classes per week: Group – 16 hrs (21 lessons), 24 hrs (29 lessons). Private lessons can be booked for any number of lessons.
Both the full and part time English course includes classes covering all 4 skills in the morning. The full time course students also have afternoon lessons from the following electives (subject to availability): Conversation – IELTS – TOEIC - Cambridge PET - Business English (upper intermediate and above).
Course Duration: One week minimum.
Lessons: 45 minutes.
Class size: Maximum of 12.
Levels: All.

A good way to work up an appetite for the city’s exceptional cuisine is to take a punt down the Avon River. Then you can choose in which of the numerous restaurants or cafes you will sample the region’s specialties and wines. Our school offers a regular and rich variety of cultural and entertainment activities to choose from. For instance, a trip to the beach, tennis, golf, surfing, sailing, farm visits, fishing, jet boating, whale watching, caving, and many others are all available. Living with a New Zealand family provides the best cultural interaction and language practice available, should you choose this option.

Type: Single.
Description: Home stay - private room, bed linens and towels, access to laundry facilities, full or half board; New Brighton student house - five minute walk from school, furnished rooms, phone and power included; Shared house - 5 minute bus ride from school, fully furnished five bedroom house, garden; Two bedroom house - one single and one double bedroom, fully furnished and equipped kitchen, bed linens, laundry, two toilets; Central city apartments - fully furnished; Motel - studio, and 1-3 bedroom units.
Meals: Half board, full board.
Travel time to school: Between 5-20 minutes.
Airport pickup: By arrangement.
