Chinese Learning + Cultural ActivitiesThere are distinctive features about Shenzhen that make it a great place to study Chinese. First, migrants come here from all parts of China, so you will experience different accents and dialects. Second, there are many migrants from the North, so you will be exposed to lots of “correct” Mandarin. Aside from the formal classes, our courses include 10 hours a week of optional classes. Examples of these classes are Chinese chess, calligraphy, Chinese painting, cooking, kung fu and Chinese music. We also include two weekend trips to locations around Shenzhen to experience the history, culture and natural beauty of the country. And, of course, don’t forget the one week (winter) or two week (summer) tour included in the course to places like Beijing, Shanghai and Xi’an.
