TOEFL Courses Montreal

This course can be taken for one week or as long as you need. It includes 25 hours per week of instruction on weekdays from 10:00 to 15:00. Groups are usually around 15 students in size. Exam prep includes test taking strategies, review of content and practice exams and questions. General English skills are also addressed in the context of preparing for the exam. There is also an optional conversation class every weekday between 15:00 and 16:00. Students have the same teacher for the regular session and different ones for the conversation class.

B1 or intermediate.

TOEFL Courses Toronto

This course prepares you for the internet based TOEFL exam. You can take this as a 2, 3 or 4 week course with 20 hours of instruction per week. Class size is between 8 and 14 students, and students must be at least 18 years of age. A diagnostic test is given at the beginning and a full test at the end. Other practice tests are given during the course as well. Students must register independently to take the TOEFL test, and should do so early, because space is limited.

Accommodation is not included in the course price, but the school offers many options, including home stay, school residence, B&B’s, hotels and apartments. Please see below for a description of the fun activities available with this course.

For other events students have to pay a small entrance fee - movie nights and going dancing for example. The school also offers longer one day or weekend long excursions such as river rafting and trips to nearby cities like New York and Montreal. These cost more, but are still a bargain.

This course offers 30 hours per week of instruction over 4, 8 or 12 weeks. Students with a higher language level taking the 4 or 8 week options join the 12 week course. Class size is between 8 and 14 students, and classes take place in the morning and afternoons Monday through Thursday and mornings only on Friday.  All materials are included in the course price, and exams are taken at the school. Expect about 2 hours of homework and practice in addition to class time each day.
