German Summer Course in Augsburg
This summer course in Germany provides 20 lessons of German language instruction over four mornings per week. You can book from one to four weeks. Class size averages from 8 to 12 students. This assures that you will get the individual attention required to progress quickly and effectively.
In the afternoons, the school has organized an interesting and educational program of cultural activities and excursions.
Some of these activities include a walking tour of Augsburg, visits to churches, a museum and the zoo. You will also take part in fun social activities like going to a beer garden and bowling.
Once a week there is a full day trip to places like Munich, Ulm, Füssen/castle and Chiemsee. All this gives you wonderful exposure to German culture and many opportunities to practice the language skills you are learning in class. All entry and transportation costs are included in the course price.

Young Person and Teen Summer Programs Berlin
The school runs five different summer programs in Berlin for ages 8 to 20 - two of these programs are actually in Berlin, and three programs take place at different lakes in the surrounding area. All the sites feature excellent German language instruction, many activities and excursions and a very diverse multi-national student population.
Summer Program Berlin - Schmokwitz: ages 8-15
This camp takes place on Teikyo University’s campus, in a green suburb on the edge of Berlin, next to Lake Zeuthen. Students attend classes in the morning for a total of 20 lessons per week.
The course is for a minimum of 2 weeks. After class, students join with German children also using the facilities for various fun and educational activities.
The program also includes a half-day and a full-day excursion to Berlin per week. You can add sailing or tennis for 3 sessions of 90 minutes each per week for an additional fee.
The amenities include 25 classrooms, a fitness center and different sports facilities. Accommodation is full board in double or triple rooms with en suite bathroom.

Summer Programs Berlin - Blossin: ages 12-17
Situated on a lake with its own harbor and water sports facilities just outside of Berlin, this program consists of 20 morning language lessons per week in groups of no more than 12. A minimum 2 week stay is required.
The afternoons, evenings and weekends are full of fun and educational activities, including many different water sports, excursions to Berlin, barbeques on the beach, movies, etc.
The campus consists of a stone building housing 10 classrooms and the cafeteria. Accommodation is in several wooden buildings.
Students will stay in double or triple rooms with en suite bathroom, and full board is included.

German Summer School Berlin - Potsdam: ages 14-17
Next to Lake Schwielowsee, a short distance outside of the city of Potsdam, this camp makes use of a beautiful hotel with a garden, restaurant, fitness center and beach.
Accommodation is full board in double rooms with en suite bathroom. Students attend group lessons 20 times per week in the mornings in classes of no more than 12, for a minimum of 2 weeks.
In the afternoons, evenings and on weekends, they will enjoy excursions to Potsdam and Berlin.
Potsdam has a fascinating 1000 year old history with several UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Other activities include canoeing, parties on the beach, movies, swimming, badminton etc. A windsurfing school is available for an additional fee.
Students will be able to practice their German with German high school students also using the facilities.

Students will stay in a cozy 40 bed villa centrally located near the most popular shopping district in Berlin. The villa has a tree-lined garden, lounge, several roomy classrooms and a cafeteria. Accommodation is full board in double or triple rooms with shared bathroom. Students attend group lessons 20 times per week in the mornings in classes of no more than 12, for a minimum of 2 weeks.
During the afternoons, evenings and on weekends, students will have educational and fun activities and excursions in and around Berlin, such as swimming at nearby lake, shopping, movies, barbeques, cycling tour of the Berlin Wall, etc.

Summer Program - Berlin College: ages 16-20
Located in the heart of Berlin’s hippest district, this course takes place at the school’s main campus.
Students attend group lessons 20 times per week in the afternoons in classes of no more than 12, for a minimum of 2 weeks. Excursions and activities in the mornings, evenings and weekends include walking tours, shopping, movies, barbeques, badminton, etc.
There are 2 accommodation options.
Students can stay on the campus or at a hostel a very short walk from the school. This is half board (breakfast and dinner) accommodation in 3 to 5 bed rooms.
The other option is half board (breakfast and dinner) home stay with a German family in a double room. This will be 30 to 50 minutes away from the school. Lunch is available at the school for an additional fee.

German Summer School in FreiburgTop
Summer Course for Adults: ages 15+
This 4 week course includes 20 lessons per week of German language instruction. Classes are in the morning from 9:00 to 12:30, and class size does not exceed 12 students.
During afternoons, evenings and weekends students can have free time or join in with the school’s planned activities and excursions. There are usually 2 activities per week, plus 2 excursions each month. These are free of charge aside from entry fees and transportation costs.
Course materials are included in the price. Accommodation is not included but can be provided by the school. Families may attend with their children, if the children attend the course described below.

Summer Course for Young Persons: ages 10-17
This course can be taken for 2, 3 or 4 weeks and includes 20 lessons per week of German language instruction. Classes are never larger than 15 students and are grouped according to age (10-13 and 14-17) and language level. Instruction is geared towards the young learner, keeping it lively and fun using role-plays, projects and practical exercises. Students receive individual counseling during their language instruction.
A full program of three activities plus one or two weekend excursions is included which will keep the student engaged and entertained while exposing him or her to German language and culture.
Activities include a welcome party, game nights, barbeque, guided tour of Freiburg, visit to a museum, sports, bowling, etc. Examples of excursions are a visit to Europapark theme park, a boat trip on Lake Titisee and summer tobogganing. Transportation and entry fees are included in the course price.
Full-board accommodation is included in a German speaking family’s home. Homes are quality controlled by the school. Students receive a travel pass, a student ID and pickup at the train station upon arrival. Airport pickup can be arranged for an additional fee.

German Language School Freiburg
German Summer Courses in HeidelbergTop
Summer Course (ages 17+)
This group course is available for 2 to 6 weeks and includes 24 lessons per week of German language instruction. Group size is kept to a maximum of 15 students, with an average of 10 to 12. This way you will be sure of getting a lot of individual attention.
Classes are held from 09:00 to 13:15, Monday through Thursday. Classes end at 12:20 on Fridays. All materials and a certificate of completion are included with tuition.
The course includes an activities and excursions program to take advantage of many of the great opportunities in Heidelberg. You’ll have two activities plus one full-day excursion on Saturday per week included in the course price (no extra transportation or entry fees).
Examples of some things you’ll have the chance to do are a guided tour of the old town and Heidelberg castle and of Roman town and a traditional winery, and excursions to places like Speyer, Mainz, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. Sundays are free for you to explore Heidelberg on your own or just relax.
Two accommodations options are available. For those aged 18 and up and wishing a lot of independence, you can stay in a studio or multi-room apartment. In the later case, the bathroom and kitchen are shared.
You can choose between single and double rooms, and meals are not included. Half-board home stay accommodation is also available in single and double rooms. You can arrange for access to the clothes washing machine for a small extra fee.
This is a great opportunity to deeply immerse yourself in German culture and practice your newly acquired language skills.
All accommodations are within 45 minutes by public transportation from the school. Students booking home stay accommodation are always accompanied to and from the nearest train station by the host family.
