Biarritz, at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, located at the edge of the Pyrenees, is a reasonably sized town of 30, 640 inhabitants, equipped with monuments and an architecture very rich in history.Its name evokes the beautiful beaches of the Basque coast, luxury hotels, its casino and museums as well as other curiosities which one should not miss.

The area has in the past been popular with aristocracy but the days of being reserved for high society are long gone and today Biarritz in an affordable, vibrant and cosmopolitan town with magnificent beaches. There are a couple of interesting museums including the Musée de la Mer, which houses 24 aquariums of fish native to the bay; try to visit during the seal feeding time (10.30am and 5pm). The town has good sporting facilities including some excellent golf courses and the best surfing in France. Each summer surfers from all over the world come to ride the waves at the annual Surf Festival. Those after more gentle exercise opt to stroll along Biarritz 's principal promenade, Quai de la Grande Plage.

There are always cultural events taking place and the city of Biarritz is internationally recognized on the cultural calendar.

Our French school in Biarritz is located at the center of Biarritz near the beaches.

Our policy of “Learning by doing " means learning French through total immersion and classes, while at the same time doing a variety of outdoor, cultural and sports activities so rich as to make the student forget that it is all happening in a foreign language.

Our teaching goal is to lead the student to a practical, working use of French. To achieve this aim students train in typical daily situations. Teaching methods specific to French as a foreign language are applied, using written material encountered in day- to- day life with the assistance of visual audio tools.

Our instructors all have University degrees in French as a foreign language and significant teaching experience. All our instructors have many years experience teaching at French language schools in France.

Our French Courses in Biarritz, France

Standard Group French Courses : Minimum of 2 weeks; 17 lessons per week; A lesson lasts 45 minutes; lessons from Monday to Friday (every morning from 9 AM to noon ). The maximum number of students in the class is ten.

Individual French Courses: Single lesson or fixed price of 10 lessons.

There are four levels; beginner, elementary, intermediate and advanced.

Upon arrival an oral and written test will be proposed to you to enable us to direct you in a group of your level.

At the end of the course a certificate is provided. The minimum age is 17. Courses begin every Monday.

Host family

The stay will start the Sunday preceding your course and ends the Sunday following the end of your course.

During your stay you will share daily life with French family living in Biarritz, Anglet or Bayonne. You will have a private bedroom. Breakfast and supper are provided during the week, and all three meals are included during weekends.
