French Courses
Languages in Action offer French courses in France, Switzerland and Canada. Each school location offers an unrivaled experience, with a variety of course and accommodation options, along with diverse landscapes, settings, and fun activities. No matter what kind of French language course you are looking for, Languages in Action has a French course for you.
French Language Course Options
Languages in Action offer a variety of French language courses throughout France, Switzerland and Canada. Our French courses include group, individual, combined, activity, examination preparation, and focused language courses. All locations offer courses from beginner to advanced with most courses beginning every Monday throughout the year.
Group French Courses
All locations offer groups French courses, with study duration of 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30 or 40 hours per week. You will learn French in a group environment often breaking in to pairs to practice communication.
Individual French Courses
Individual courses provide tailor made language solutions and range from a per hour basis, to 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 hours a week. You can also choose your own amount of individual lessons. These courses can sometimes be provided to two students studying together.
Combined French Courses
Combined courses of group and individual classes are offered at all our locations. You can choose from 20+4, 20+6, 20+8, 20+10, 25+5, and 25+10 hours per week. These courses offer accelerated learning for those who cannot enroll on longer courses.
Activity French Courses
Our schools also offer courses that mix French lessons with extracurricular activities, seasonal intensive courses, time-based courses (morning or evening), and courses for 50+. The extracurricular activities include hill walking, golf and surfing.
Examination and Certification French Courses
Many of our schools offer certificate and examination preparation courses including the Certificat d'études - of the elementary, intermediate and upper intermediate levels

French Language Course Accommodation Options
The accommodations range in price. Many of them give you the option to have a single room, a shared room, or dorm-style. Full board, half-board, or no boards included are also options for most of our accommodations.
Each school has several accommodation options for the students.
Home/family stay
Full language and cultural immersion while being economical. All families are carefully selected and usually provide three meals per day.
Shared Student Apartments
More independent accommodation living with fellow language learners. Can choose single, double or shared rooms.
Private Apartment
Full independence in fully furnished apartments.
Hotels
All the trappings and charm of French hotel accommodation.
Bed and Breakfast/Pension
More informal than hotels with a personal touch. Popular with couples or mature students.
