Our school has a strict maximum class size of ten students and an average class size that is generally far smaller. Our Standard Group Course consists of 15 hours of lessons per week. This course is ideal for students who already have a reasonable level of English and wish to have more time for enjoying the many attractions of the Timaru area and New Zealand as a whole.
Our Intensive Group Course consists of 25 hours of lessons per week. This course is recommended for students with little or no previous knowledge of English, as well as students who are only with us for a short time.
Our school in Timaru also offers TOEFL, IELTS and TOEIC Courses, Business English Courses, High School and University Preparation Courses, as well as Cambridge Examination Courses.

 Our English school in Timaru, New Zealand can provide its students with accommodation with a typical New Zealand family located close to our school. Students participating in our very popular home stay program will receive a private room, all meals for the duration of your stay, a study area in your room and a regular laundry service. As well as home stay families close to our school we can also provide students with a farm stay option. The farm stay option gives students the chance to live in the New Zealand countryside with a local farming family, however, this option can mean a longer journey to school everyday so is not suitable for everyone.
All our home stay families are carefully selected after a thorough interview and inspection process, with regular follow ups and student feedback helping to maintain the high standards we expect for our students. At our English School in New Zealand we firmly believe that our home stay program is the best way of reinforcing the language learnt in the classrooms by providing daily opportunities to practice your English with a typical local family.
Students not wishing to take part in our home stay program can choose from a wide variety of other accommodation, with a multitude of hotels, motels, hostels and apartments in the vicinity of the school.
