Students also have access to the computer network which has Microsoft Office 2000 installed (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer), as well as plenty of English language learning exercises. These include interactive pronunciation exercises (for example Sky Pronunciation suite that includes four programs which provide comprehensive training in English pronunciation), and listening tasks (for example Active Listening in English: a listening for information task, an interactive situational dialogue, a gap filling or note taking task and a talk or interview).
The school library is a quiet place to work, with general reference books (for example about Britain, higher education), and English Language reference books (for example grammar exercise books and dictionaries). There is also a large lending library which students are free to borrow from and take home to read. While you are with us our Accommodation Manager is in regular contact with the family to make sure that there are no problems.
