English Courses
Languages in Action provides English courses in many of the world’s English speaking countries, including England, the USA, Canada, Australia, and many others. Each location offers its own experiences as well as diverse cultures, landscapes, and extracurricular activities. No matter what kind of English language courses you are looking for, Languages in Action has an English course for you. All our teachers are native speakers while being professionally qualified and experienced.
English Language Course Options
 Languages in Action offer a variety of English language courses. English courses include group, individual, combined, activity, focused and examination preparation courses. All courses are offered from beginner to advanced levels with most courses beginning every Monday.
Group English Courses
Group English courses run at all our locations and are 10, 15, 16, 20, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, or 40 hours per week. You will learn English in a group environment, often engaging in pair work with your fellow classmates.
Individual English Courses
Offered at all our locations and range from a per hour basis up to an unlimited amount of study. Individual English courses offer tailor made solutions for those who would like to focus on specific language areas, or study privately one a one to one basis.
Combined English Courses
Combine group courses with individual instruction. Courses available are 15+5, 15+10, 20+4, 20+5, 20+10, 25+5 and 25+10 hours per week. We offer combined English courses in all our locations.
Activity English Courses
 Our English schools offer courses that combine English lessons with extracurricular activities. The extracurricular activities include golf, tennis, music, fitness, surfing, creative writing, American literature and more.
Focused English Courses
Specific areas of study that are available include Medical English, English for Law, Banking and Finance, International Management, Tourism and Leisure, Academic Learning, Economics, Engineering, Technology, Letter writing skills, Report writing skills, and Intercultural communication skills.
Examination English Courses
Many of our language schools offer Cambridge test and preparation courses such as the PET, KET, FCE, CAE, CPE, as well as IELTS TOEFL, TESOL and TOEIC preparation programs.

English Course Accommodation Options
Each school has several accommodation options from which to choose these options include homestay, apartments, hotels, hostels, pensions and student houses. The accommodations range in price and have different features. All language schools give you the option to have a single room, shared double room. Full board, half-board, or no board are also options for most of our school locations.
Home/family stay
Full language and cultural immersion while being fun and economical. Hosts are carefully selected and usually provide three meals per day. You are usually given your own key and will have a private bedroom.
Shared Student Apartments
 More independent accommodation, living with fellow language learners. You can choose single, double or shared rooms if traveling with a partner or friend. This option is a good way to get to know other students at your school and you can learn and practice together in the evening.
Private Apartment
Full independence in fully furnished apartments. If you are traveling as a couple or small group, you may like to consider this option.
Hotels
More expensive that most other options, hotels can be booked to meet clients needs.
Bed and Breakfast/Pension
More informal than hotels, usually family run and therefore with a personal touch. Popular with mature students and couples.
English Language School’s Accreditations and Memberships
All of our English Language Schools are highly accredited and have numerous professional memberships. The school accreditations include English UK, British Council, Association of British Language Schools, Quality English, American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP), the American Council for Teaching Foreign Languages (ACTFL), ACCET, IALC, NAFSA, AAIEP, ALTO, English Australia, and FIYTO. We also offer Bildungurlaub and CSN grants
